MARKET TALK: Morgan Stanley Upgrades Aegon To Overweight

Vrijdag 26 juni 2009 08:00 0600 GMT [Dow Jones] Morgan Stanley upgrades Aegon (AEG) to overweight from underweight and raises target price to EUR6.50 from EUR6. Bank sees credit market improvement, manageable credit losses and good progress in capital release as potential catalysts for the rest of 09. Reckons Aegon's credit losses may be lower than the market thinks and there is a strong chance it can redeem the EUR1B State-aid on preferential terms without a rights issue. The bank adds that the stock looks expensive on embedded value basis. Shares closed Thursday at EUR4.13. (MVT)
