    Wat ik er uit op kan maken is dat er in de komende tijd veel nieuws komt over de verschillende onderzoeken zie de nieuwssite van ARGENX.

    Ondanks alles wat er speelt in de wereld blijft de koers toch redelijk stabiel tussen de 240 en de 250.

    Argenx meldt goede resultaten voor subcutaan efgartigimod

    SC efgartigimod, het geneesmiddel van Argenx ARGX 0,00% in een versie die onderhuids kan worden ingespoten, scoort niet minder goed ter behandeling van veralgemeende myasthenia gravis (gMG) dan de intraveneuze formulering van efgartigimod, bekend onder de naam Vyvgart. Dat blijkt uit de resultaten van het fase 3-onderzoek Adapt-SC. Argenx is nu van plan om tegen eind dit jaar bij de Amerikaanse geneesmiddelendienst FDA een aanvraag in te dienen voor SC efgartigimod.

    Om efgartigimod onderhuids te kunnen inspuiten, werd het middel gecombineerd met rHuPH20, de Enhanze-toedieningstechnologie van het Amerikaans biotechbedrijf Halozyme.

    In een persbericht legt Tim Van Hauwermeiren, de CEO van Argenx uit, dat ze naar de gMG-gemeenschap geluisterd hebben en tot de vaststelling kwamen dat keuzemogelijkheid en flexibiliteit belangrijk zijn voor patiënten. Door efgartigimod niet enkel in de intraveneuze formulering, maar ook in subcutane formulering krijgen gMG-patiënten de kans om de behandeling af te stemmen op hun persoonlijke noden en voorkeuren.

    Breda, the Netherlands — argenx SE (Euronext & Nasdaq: ARGX), a global immunology company committed to improving the lives of people suffering from severe autoimmune diseases, announced today that it has commenced a global offering of $500 million (approximately €453 million) of ordinary shares, which may be represented by American Depository Shares (“ADSs”). The global offering will be comprised of an offering of ordinary shares represented by ADSs in the United States and certain other countries outside of the European Economic Area and a simultaneous private placement of ordinary shares in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Each of the ADSs represents the right to receive one ordinary share, nominal value of €0.10 per share. The U.S. offering and the European private placement are expected to close simultaneously.

    In addition, argenx intends to grant the underwriters of the offering a 30-day option to purchase additional ordinary shares (which may be represented by ADSs) in an aggregate amount of up to 15% of the total number of ordinary shares (including represented by ADSs) proposed to be sold in the offering, on the same terms and conditions.

    Argenx wil 500 miljoen dollar bijtanken bij grote investeerders

    Specialist in auto-immuunziekten Argenx ARGX 0,00% wil voor 500 miljoen dollar bijtanken en daarvoor lanceert het een private plaatsing bij grote beleggers. Dat maakte het bedrijf gisteren bekend. Het bedrijf verbrandt in hoog tempo cash om de commercialisering van Vyvgart in de VS en dure klinische tests te financieren.

    De Schotse vermogensbeheerder Baillie Gifford is ook weer van de partij en wil voor 170 miljoen dollar intekenen op de operatie. De vermogensbeheerder tekende ook bij eerdere kapitaalrondes gretig in.
