    I like how TSMC posted a video about its new Arizona Fab, where they explain how chips are made using EUV equipment from ASML, and they even include small clips provided by ASML.
    "to be able to do this is incredibly difficult. We are using extreme ultraviolet technologies (ASML) to be able to print line..."
    ASML is one of the most gorgeous monopolies.

    Dit is fantastisch nieuws omtrent de ASML EUV technologie die uniek is maar dit is met reeds geleverde EUV tools, dus niet meer relevant voor toekomstige orders, die tools leveren wel installed base management inkomsten op.

    Belangrijker is dat al de nieuwe chipfabrieken in aanbouw of uitbreiding ervan in de VS allemaal geavanceerde chips bedraagt en daar zijn enkel ASML EUV/HIGH END EUV tools voor geschikt.

    Er worden buiten de VS ook in Taiwan/Japan/Zuid Korea en Europa ook nieuwe chipfabrieken gebouwd of uitgebreid waar ook DUV/EUV tools geïnstalleerd worden wat ook positief is voor ASML.

    En op termijn zal Indië ook een eigen chipketen willen hebben, ASML heeft daar al contacten voor aangesproken.

    Het verlies aan omzet uit China volgend jaar (wat trouwens uitzonderlijk hoog was ) zal ruimschoots gecompenseerd worden door nieuwe orders te beginnen einde dit kwartaal en 2026.

    Belangrijker is ook dat EUV tools meer en meer belangrijker worden voor chips ten nadele van DUV tools maar DUV zal nog steeds belangrijk zijn.

    Mee eens Christo, mijn inziens gaat EUV de rol van DUV in de toekomst overnemen, maar dat dit nu nog te vroeg is om te benoemen
    Ook DUV's kunnen geavanceerde chips produceren, dus zal het nog wel even duren voordat het overgrote deel van de chips dusdanig ingewikkeld worden dat enkel EUV deze rendabel kan produceren.
    Andere kanttekening is et woorden "ruimschhoots" in Het verlies aan omzet uit China volgend jaar (wat trouwens uitzonderlijk hoog was ) zal ruimschoots gecompenseerd worden door nieuwe orders te beginnen einde dit kwartaal en 2026.
    ASML zelf geeft aan dat het bijna volledig wordt gecompenseerd "omzet 2026 zal niet lager zijn dan 2025"
    Maar volg ik ik je gedachtegang zeker.
